1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, placing an order for hardware, submitting equipment for repair diagnostics, executing a rental contract, or requesting a solar/security installation proposal from VEL SYSTEMS, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. IT Hardware & Retail Sales

• Product Pricing: All listed prices are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of GST as explicitly indicated on the product card or cart checkout.
• Stock Availability: Orders are confirmed subject to physical stock verification. In the rare event of inventory exhaustion, our team will provide an equivalent replacement recommendation or issue an immediate 100% refund.
• Manufacturer Warranty: All branded laptops, desktops, monitors, processors, graphics cards, and peripherals are supplied with original manufacturer warranty governed by the respective brand (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Hikvision, CP Plus, etc.).

3. Hardware Repair & Diagnostic Services

• Diagnostic Estimate: An initial physical inspection is performed, followed by a formal quotation. No paid chip-level or component replacement work is undertaken without explicit customer authorization via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
• Customer Data Responsibility: Customers are advised to back up all personal data before submitting devices. While VEL SYSTEMS takes extreme care, we bear no liability for pre-existing hard disk file system degradation, bad sectors, or catastrophic NAND corruption.
• Service Warranty: Chip-level motherboard repairs, display panel replacements, and DC jack repairs are backed by our 90-day comprehensive service warranty covering the specific replaced component or repaired circuit.
• Unclaimed Equipment: Devices left unclaimed at our Chengalpattu center for more than 60 calendar days post service completion notification may incur storage fees of ₹50/day.

4. Turnkey Solar & Security Engineering

Solar energy solutions are provided purely as custom engineering and procurement projects. All solar savings calculations and payback timelines are mathematical estimations based on prevailing TANGEDCO HT/LT tariffs, seasonal solar irradiance models, and historical utility consumption. Grid connectivity and subsidy disbursement are subject to statutory inspections by TANGEDCO and state/central government agencies.

5. Payment Terms and Invoicing

Commercial orders, rentals, and engineering contracts require adherence to agreed milestone payment terms. Invoices are issued with our legal GSTIN and corporate PAN. Late payments on credit accounts for corporate AMC clients are subject to 1.5% interest per month from the due date.

6. Limitation of Liability and Jurisdiction

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, VEL SYSTEMS' total aggregate liability arising out of any hardware sale, service repair, or rental contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service order.

All contractual disputes, claims, or controversies shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent civil courts in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, India.
